- Ok just to let all of you know, I found out what the problem is...
-
- I read in a Magazine that many phone companies are starting to
- implement digital voice compression into many new (and updating old as
- well) communities. This converts analog to digital via compression
- routines and the troughput signal is a max of 9600 bandwith.. Bummer
- huh, the reason they do that is so they can fit more phone lines into
- one box (or whatever they plug them all into). Anyways this is not
- reversable and there is no way out considering the phone companies
- only guarantee voice communication and not computer..
-
- well thank you all for the responses..
